How to Make Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:
4oz butter
8oz plain flour, 1oz for rolling and cutting
4oz white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon cocoa
Icing(optional)

Equipment:
Wooden Spoon
2 baking trays
Cookie cutters(optional)
Wire rack

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180C
Step 2: Grease 1 of the baking tray
Step 3:Mix the butter and sugar till the mixture is smooth and fluffy
Step 4: Add the egg and stir thoroughly
Step 5: Add the flour bit by bit while stirring
Step 6: Add the cocoa
Step 7: Stir till the mixture is brown
Step 8: Put the mixture on the other baking tray put the 1oz of flour on the tray, roll out and cut shapes
Step 9: Put the cut out shapes on the greased baking tray
Step 10: Put the cookies in the oven for 10-12 minutes
Step 11: Put the cookies in the wire rack and wait for 5 minutes
Step 12(optional): Put icing on the cookies
Step 13: Serve immediately
